Flexible Schedule:

We understand that many of our students have busy schedules, which is why we offer day, evening, and weekend classes for our IV certification program. This flexibility allows you to pursue your education while still balancing work and other commitments.

Day Classes:

Our day classes are held from Monday to Thursday, from 9 am to 1 pm, for a total of 10 classroom days plus open lab hours and externship. These classes are ideal for those looking to complete the program quickly and efficiently. For a limited time, we’re offering our day program for just $1,900.

Evening Classes:

For those who work during the day, our evening classes may be a better fit. These classes are also held from Monday to Thursday but take place from 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm. The program includes 10 classroom days plus open lab hours and externship. The cost for this Orange County IV Certification program is $2,155.

Weekend Classes:

Our weekend classes are perfect for those who need a more flexible schedule. These classes take place on Saturdays and Sundays from 9 am to 5 pm, for a total of 6 classroom days plus open lab hours and externship. The program costs $2,000 for a limited time.

Program Details:

Our Orange County IV certification program includes both basic and advanced didactic classroom instruction. You’ll receive 20 hours of basic instruction and 20 hours of advanced instruction, covering topics such as patient assessment, catheter insertion, and IV therapy. You’ll also receive practical, hands-on training in venipuncture practices and safety procedures, including additional open lab hours for more practice prior to assignment to externship and/or in preparation for job interviews.

Externship:

After completing the classroom portion of the program, you’ll be assigned to an externship site such as a hospital, clinic, or laboratory. This 40-hour externship allows you to apply what you’ve learned in real-world situations, gain valuable experience, and build professional connections.

Certification:

Upon successful completion of the program, you’ll receive an Orange County IV certification, which qualifies you to work as an IV therapist in various healthcare settings. You’ll also be eligible to take the National Healthcare Association’s Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) exam.
